Concentration in Energy, Science and Technology

​Students gain an understanding of the scientific and technical constraints and opportunities that are pertinent to sustainable energy development. The courses in this concentration bridge scientific and technological knowledge with an understanding of energy and environmental policies that influence energy technology design choice. Students are equipped with an understanding of government policy and economic


In addition to the standard requirements for the B.S. in Energy and Environmental Policy, students cocentrating in Energy, Science and Technology must also complete the following advanced coursework.

ENEP 426     Climate Change: Science, Policy and Political Economy (3 credits)

CHEM 103    General Chemistry (4 credits)

ECON 300     Intermediate Microeconomic Theory (3 credits)

MATH 241     Analytic Geometry and Calculus A (4 credits)

PHYS 201     Introductory Physics I (4 credits)

Advanced Course Electives
